Time:6:30pm - 8:30pm
Dates:March 22nd, 2019
This workshop could be a great addition to your current QiGong classes, or, if you are a newcomer, an experiential and informative introduction to the ancient QiGong practice for health, longevity and inner balance.
What will be covered:
Breathing in QiGong and its variations
The benefits of standing meditations
Acupressure points - the use in daily life
Behind every practice for health there is knowledge and wisdom shared from those who have experienced its long-term benefits. The ancient wisdom of Qigong promotes wholeness of body, mind, and spirit.
This class will give you more understanding of the basic principles behind QiGong practice and the difference and importance of chest and belly breathing and their impact on your mental and physical health.
We will focus also on self-massage and learn a few helpful acu-points that can be used in daily life.
For example,
to let go the feelings of disappointment, anger and guilt (often for women) after a stressful conversation,
lessen your anxiety before a flight,
or prevent a panic attack.
There will be also fun group exercises to stimulate your brains and improve concentration and memory.
You can ask any of your questions about the practice you often can't ask in classroom because of time limitations.
2-hours workshop. $35.
