Join Cathy for a Ayurveda fall cleanse that is designed to nourish you body and soul. This hearty cleanse focuses on recipes and foods to share and taste...as well as a seasonal Ayurveda fall yoga practice; to keep you warm, boost immune system and "fall" into your natural rhythms with this seasonal change. We will discuss appropriate daily practices for body and mind for optimal health according to Ayurvedic tradition.
This is a 2 part workshop and includes:
Part 1: Friday, Oct 6th 6:30-8:30pm
Seasonal yoga practice to support body Discussion of fall cleanse as it pertains to Ayurveda including appropriate daily practices and optimal nutrition.
You will receive recipes, a grocery list for fall and discuss kitchari and all its healing properties to the body.
Part 2: Friday, Oct 13th 6:30-8:30pm
Meditation practice and pranayama for the season
Sampling of fall nourishing foods from grocery list
Abbyanga - self massage (we will practice on our feet)
Cost: $25/ per class or $40 If paid in full for both.
