We are very pleased to announce that Kathy Trainor is joining our team as lactation consultant and childbirth educator!!
Kathy received her RN BSN from Salem University. She is an internationally board certified lactation consultant and certified childbirth educator. Kathy has worked at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston in women’s health over the last 30 years. She has helped countless numbers of women and their families welcome their newborns into the world. She is also a pioneer in educating nurses and doctors to bring skin-to-skin care to the bedside for vaginal deliveries. She developed the clear drape technique, along with her colleague, Dr. Bill Camann, to allow mothers to see the birth of their baby during a C-section delivery. Kathy lives with her husband and is the mother of three children and one grandchild. She is fondly referred to by her colleagues as “The Milk Lady”!
Kathy will lead the Free Breastfeeding support group for Mothers and infants on every Tuesdays at 10am-12n, which will start at July 7th, 2015, in our wellness center. This group is intended to assist with the basic difficulties of breastfeeding and provide a social network. Private consults can be made by appointment.

* Online Booking for Massage and Returning Acupuncture Clients: You may now book your second appointment on your PC and mobile devices via our online booking system below. Please double check your location to see that you’ve reserved your spot at the correct center as we now have two; Medford and North Reading.
* First time acupuncture clients will still need to call the office to book their first appointment.
* Please check with the office when you make your appointment, as some Services are dependent on location and availability.
Tai Chi Acupuncture and Wellness Center, LLC is pleased to announce that our online booking system is now operational. Clients can now search for, and book, acupuncture and massage visits from a computer or mobile device.
In order to book an appointment online you will be required to provide your billing information. We will not bill your credit card until the time of visit however.
***Credit card information will be saved, and appointments that are cancelled within 24 hours will be billed $35 (Late Cancellation Fee) to the card provided due to our cancellation policy.
***If using a voucher, gift card or some kind of promotion to book an appointment, a credit card will be asked for in order to secure an appointment, but will not be billed.
Due to a very busy schedule, only certain times will be open for online booking for acupuncture… if there is no time available that works for you, please call the office and we will do our best to accommodate.
If you do not have a credit card, please call the office for assistance with online booking.

Your appointment time is reserved solely for you, consequently, a 24-hour cancellation policy applies to your appointment. You may leave a message on our voice mail system at any time of day to cancel your appointment, and it will date and time stamp your call. If you are unable to cancel your appointment 24-hours in advance, a cancellation charge for $35 fee will apply. We will make exceptions for emergency situations, but you must call one of our clinics to request a cancellation.
Please do your best to arrive on time for your appointment. If you find that you are running late, please call the clinic to let your practitioner know and we will do our best to accommodate you, depending on schedule availability. Depending on the practitioner schedule, you may be asked to reschedule your appointment. If you would prefer, feel free to call any of our clinics to schedule your appointment.
