This workshop will be dedicated to full body and spirit relaxation. Getting there via various forms of Pranayama (breathwork), Hand Mudras, and gentle relaxing movements. We will learn to slow down, relax and focus on bringing our attention inward.

Following the breath awareness and mudra practice, we will move into savasana (final resting pose) to begin Yoga Nidra (Yogic Sleep).

Laying on the floor with the use of any props you desire to find ultimate comfort. During the Yoga Nidra section of this workshop you will be guided through the subtle body using various relaxation techniques, visualizations, imagery, and awareness of breath.

Yoga Nidra can be a beautifully powerful practice when guided in and out, remaining awake and aware, and allowing the mind to quiet. Through the meditation there will be various instructions for students to practice with their mind and awareness only. No movement. There will also be times to state a sankalpa (a positive affirmation stated in the present; an intention).

It is becoming more recognized for it's relaxing yet rejuvenating properties. When combined alongside pranayama, hand mudras, and some gentle/restorative postures the mind can travel deep into the subconscious.

Amanda is a Certified Yoga Nidra Instructor, and a RYT200 Yoga Teacher. In addition to studio classes she offers 1:1 private Yoga Nidra and meditation sessions to students wanting to deepen their practice and inner awareness.

This workshop is accessible for all levels, and everybody. Suggestions and guidance will be offered along the way. All you need to do is show up, breathe, and let your mind remain while your body rests.
